Statement of Faith

In the Name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Recognizing our unity in Christ and our common practice in the Christian Faith; desiring to express our fellowship in worship and work; knowing our spiritual needs; mindful of our Christian privileges and duties; wishing to observe orderly cooperation, Trinity Lutheran Congregation Minneapolis, MN. has adopted the following confession of faith.
The congregation accepts all canonical books of the Old and New Testaments as a whole and in all parts as divinely, inspired, revealed, and inerrant Word of God and submits to this as the only infallible authority in all matters of faith and life.
　　 As brief and true statements of the doctrines of the Word of God,　 the congregation accepts and confesses the following symbol,　 subscription to which will be required of all its members:
　　　　　　 (1) The ecumenical Creeds: the Apostolic, The Nicene, and the Athanasian;
　　　　　　 (2) The Unaltered Augsburg Confession and Luther’s Small Catechism.
　　 The purpose of the congregation shall be to proclaim and propagate the Christian Faith through the Means of Grace.

We Believe:

That the Bible is the inspired Word of God

That the Holy Scriptures is the only source and authority for our teaching

That it is only by God’s free gift of Grace that we receive eternal life and can have a relationship with Him

That the forgiveness of sins is received by faith alone

That God has given us His Word in the Bible, the Sacrament of Holy Baptism, and the Lord’s Supper as particular blessings to help us grow in faith

　

　

We are Lutheran Christians (Mkekane Yesus Christians)

We believe that the Scripture teaches that there is one God eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son, & Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus, true God and true man, fulfilled the law of God in our place and died on the cross to pay the penalty of our sin.　 We believe that Jesus rose bodily from the dead and lives for us and all people who believe in Him as their Lord and Savior.　 Our faith is summarized in these five parts:

*Grace Alone - Salvation is wholly the work of God alone.　 Human beings are unable to perform any good work in order to please God and be accepted by Him.　 Human beings have broken the law of God (10 commandments), but Christ kept all the commandments in our place and died the death we deserved to bring us to God.　

*Faith Alone - Saving faith does not involve simply an intellectual understanding to certain biblical truths, but believing and resting on Christ and His righteousness.　

*Scripture Alone - The Bible, comprised of both the Old and New Testaments, is God-breathed revelation which alone teaches all that is necessary for salvation from sin and forms the basis by which all Christian conduct must be measured.　

* Christ Alone -　 Salvation is accomplished by the work of Christ alone.　 His sinless life and substitutionary death alone are sufficient for our acceptance by a Holy God.　

* For God's Glory Alone - We live our entire lives before the face of God, under His authority and for his glory alone.

To communicate the Gospel through mass media to lead as many people as possible toward salvation and spiritual growth.

Mission

To effectively communicate the Gospel message to those who don't know or fully understand it, through old and contemporary Christian songs and short educational elements, preaching the gospel, marriage counseling and personal testimony over radio, Internet and the new system of pod cast - using modern day language and the highest professional standards. Our mission also is to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ in word and song through a radio ministry that will minister to the hurts and needs of the community of East Africans and beyond.

The vision here at Trinity Lutheran Congregation is unity in Jesus Christ for our community. Yemisrach Dimtis Radio will always remain a station of ministry with Christian principles that will be in radio format featuring:　
　　
Christian Contemporary, Gospel, and Inspirational music, combined with the Word of God and personal testimony. Our format is designed to reach all God's people regardless of race, economic, gender, and religious barriers.　
　　
We are followers of Christ and obedience brings reward. With God's word as our foundation and his spirit as our guide, we will spread this message of hope and unity in Jesus Christ to all the community here in the twin cities and to the rest of the world.　
　　

This ministry of Yemisrach Dimtis Radio located in Twin cities, Minnesota went on the air in 2004 with Rev. Dr. Alemseged Asmelash and Brother Moses Solomon in charge of operations. This ministry began under the inspiration of God to empower his people to a closer relationship with him. God gave us this vision and defined our purpose to be a "Light" for the city of St. Paul and Minneapolis and surrounding areas with the message of Jesus Christ.　
　　
We have endeavored to service the needs of the entire community with quality Christian programming and by supporting the efforts of Trinity Lutheran Congregation.　
Yemisrach Dimits Radio is a not-for profit corporation. This radio ministry also have five board members from Trinity Lutheran Congregation and committed to support by reaching out to the neighborhood and beyond through their vision and mission via this ministry.

Yemesrach Dimtis Radio program is a listener and non listener supported radio network providing contemporary & old Christian songs, Gospel preaching and personal witnessing. Every week the ministry of Yemesrach Dimits touches thousands of lives with the positive message of God's love especially from Middle East.
Yemisrach Dimtis radio program features a rich blend of inspirational, gospel, and Christian contemporary music connected with quality Christian programming such as:　Marriage counseling, preaching and life application, witnessing, and so on and so forth.
